Ligularia - Little Rocket

A Future Plants® introduction from Marco Fransen of the Netherlands. This is a dwarf variety of Ligularia, reaching a height of only 20". Because it is a tetraploid, the flowers are truly substantial with dark buds opening to bright yellow flowers in mid-summer. Best grown in cool, moist locations in part shade, like the edge of a pond.
